What is your indoor speed limit for Airsoft markers?

The max indoor FPS at our facility is 320 feet per second

What size of BB can I use?

We use .20 sized BB’s at our facility. You can purchase a bag of 4000 BB’s for $20 or bring your own.

What type(s) of guns are ok to use indoors?

The type of Airsoft gun does not matter. However it must shoot semi auto or pump. We do not allow full auto mode to be used.

Is there a maximum number of guns a player can a player can carry in the arena?

We have no restrictions unless the game specifies it, i.e. pistols only or another such game. The individual packs and carries his own weapons and may use as many as he or she wishes.

Can we use rubber knives?

Yes you may but rubber only! At no time is a real knife allowed to be part of a kit. The knife kill is a drag across the body. Some mods allow the under hand toss of the knife. The knife should never be thrown overhand at a player. Avoid the head area when dragging or tapping a victim.

What about eye protection?

You are protecting your eyes, they are not replaceable. All eye glasses and goggles must be ballistic rated and as such it must be marked on the lense and arm. Parental consent required by some groups if you are under 16 years of age and want to wear glasses. A note must be supplied from parent with a phone number on it. If under 16 years of age the same rule applies for face protection. BB’s will break off a tooth so please be sure to cover your face.

What clothing should I wear to play?.

The goal when playing indoors is to not to fog up from overheating. We find its best to wear thick, yet cool layers that cover any exposed skin. A jean jacket is better than a hoodie. Heavy cotton is better than denim which, in turn, is better than sweatpants. Remember bare skin is not good , cover up when playing Airsoft to help yourself have the most enjoyable experience possible.

When can airsoft be played at the Laser Trek Arena (SE Calgary)?

Our regular club nights are as follows; Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday starting at 7pm. Come early so you are ready for the reading of the rules at 7pm. These are the only times that the arena is closed to laser tag, for airsoft. All of the rest of the week is Laser Tag time. If there is no Laser Tag booked then airsoft playing can happen. Groups playing airsoft must stop and wait if a laser tag group arrives during a non pre-booked Airsoft session. This takes ~40 minutes for the 2 games of laser tag.

What Age can play Airsoft?

We generally say the age restriction is a minimum of 14 years of age and up.

What is the price to play Airsoft?

Club Nights: Note that no coupons are accepted as play time is 4 hours. Cost is a one time Game Fee of $20 for the night or any portion of the night. Rentals {if required} are $20 for the night. Note limited rentals are available. BB’s cost $20 for a bag of 4000 or bring your own.

What about head protection?

We supply full face masks. Note that renters get first dibs, but all are welcome to use free of charge. For more information on head protection see previous question regarding eye protection.

What about doing an Airsoft bithday party?

Yes we do Airsoft birthday parties which last for one hour of playtime. Cost is $25 a player. Rentals are not available to players under 14 years old. Time is available from Monday to Thursday except we do not run Airsoft birthdays during club times. Parties may play longer if there are no customers around after the hour play time is up.

Can I play airsoft during the week other than with a birthday party or a club night?

Yes anytime the arena is open from Monday to Thursday and is not being used for laser tag, airsoft can be played. Please always call first before showing up 403-247-8887

Can you open early?

Yes during the week if a group of 8 or more want to start at noon or later they can pre arrange an earlier open from our usual weekday opening of 3pm (Monday to Thursday). Note a deposit of $150.00 is required. Please call 403 252 9444 to arrange.

Can I play Airsoft on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday?

No Airsoft is available on Friday, Saturday or Sunday as the arena is used exclusively for laser tag. However, note that on Sundays we have club Airsoft starting at 7pm. You cannot book private Airsoft on Sundays.
